Using the Web Application Open Platform Interface (WOPI) protocol, CSPP gives the ability to open Office files directly from partners’ cloud-based storage solution, providing users instant access to all the benefits of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The CSPP Plus program tier enables real-time coauthoring in Microsoft Office desktop applications, allowing users to collaborate on Office documents in real-time, with the same experience as they would have if they were using Office 365 storage.
I was the Engineering Manager for the delivery of the CSPP Plus program, as part of which I led integration efforts on the client teams as new partners joined the program, and I was responsible for the reliability of the product.
